I am unique amongst trainers for my passionate and uncompromising devotion to helping people achieve optimal health through exercise and nutrition.
I have been involved in sports all my life and a regular gym user since I was old enough to join and I am still amazed how things are changing and progressing for the better.
I believe we now realise that we don't need to sweat it out at the gym day in day out to achieve optimal health.
I've been out of touch with the healthy eating and fitness for a while and I just need some guidance to help me get back on track. I'm very motivated but not sure where to start.
I need to feel fit and healthy as I'm always tired and my confidence has dropped. I've got a great outfit that I would love to get back into. I know it'll be hard but I'm ready.
I've no idea what healthy eating is so many people telling me different things. I've tried lots of diets and exercise fads but always end up with an injury which stops me exercising and the circle continues.
I've put on so much weight and don't know how I got here or how I'm going to get out. I've no confidence, no motivation and so confused what is healthy anymore. No diet has worked for me and feel totally alone in my struggle and no one to talk to who understands.
I'm really fed up with my back pain not a day goes by when it doesn't hurt. It stops me doing even the simplest of tasks. I don't know what to do or who can help, if anyone.
It all began with a crazy idea. Turning 40 and spurred on by some discussions with some colleagues at work, a few of us thought about entering a sprint triathlon. It was my wife's idea to get in touch with Jenny as they have been friends for years. She began by asking me what my goals were, and the time I wanted to achieve my goals in.
I have been a client of Jenny's since November 2012. She has recommended both a nutrition plan, and a personal exercise plan which has me exercising 5 days out of 7. I won't lie, it seemed like a very daunting task to begin with, and at times in the six months I have been training, I have hit some low points. Luckily with Jenny's advice, support and suggestions I have come through these lows feeling more positive. I am in better shape than I was when I was in my teenage years and twenties. I have new views on what is good to eat, and how my body responds to what I feed it.
I have more energy than I know what to do with, and I am truly amazed by what we have managed to achieve and how far I can push myself. Would I recommend Jenny? In a word, yes. I don't see her as just a trainer any more, she is also my mentor and my friend.
I met Jenny nearly 3 years ago through a mutual friend and I agreed to give her circuit training classes a go as I didn't do any exercise due to lower back pain but felt I should. In the past I often got bored with classes and have swapped and changed over the years but Jenny's classes are so varied I have found myself attending most weeks ever since.
There is a great bunch of people of all ages who attend circuits each week and everyone is very friendly. Jenny's classes are hard and push me to my limits and beyond but I always come away happy. I have found I have more energy now and less back pain as my muscles are stronger. She has also helped me with deep massage to help with knee pain. One session and the pain has gone. I also have lower back and shoulder problems. I have had massage for these problems too, which helped, and if I'm having problems during circuit training she gives me an alternative exercise to do.
My daughter has also had some knee issues when over doing it during her dance classes and Jenny's 'magic hands' have sorted her out too. I would highly recommend Jenny's class to anyone of any ability and also her excellent massages. Go on give her class a go. You won't regret it.'
